Application of AUSM + method into simulation of viscous internal flows

  • The AUSM+ (advection upstream splitting method+) and one-equation Spalart-Allmaras (S-A) turbulence model used in the present in-house three-dimensional Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) flow solver were briefly described.The transonic flow in the Sajben converging-diverging duct and the flow in the stator passage of a high turning turbine were simulated to verify the code.The results show that the present solver can be used to simulate accurately the complex internal flow fields.
