  • The mechanical model of the double-decker ball bearing was established and the relative calculation program compiled in MATLAB was developed based on the quasi-dynamic method by considering the radial load,axial load,centrifugal force as well as the gyroscopic moment acted on the bearing simultaneously.And the method was verified experimentally.The simulation results show that,the relationship between the inner and outer pitch diameters of the bearing determines the inner and intermediate races' rotate speed distribution.The radial and axial loads affect the ball contact angles relating to the bearing failure.Rotate speed,ball materials,axial preload as well as the initial contact angles greatly impact the bearing stiffness.The results provide a theoretical basis for the design and use of this bearing in high-speed rotor-bearing system.
