Experimental on nonlinear vibration characteristics of high-speed rotor bearings system with compressor and turbine structure

  • Based on gas-dynamic bearings and frequency coupled modulation of rotor-bearing system,the characteristics of rotor bearing system's nonlinear vibration experimental investigations were applied to high-speed air cycle refrigerator.Furthermore,some nonlinear characteristics,for example,the motion of rotor,bearings instability and rub-impact which always happen on the flexible shaft,were analyzed.The results show that,if the design margin of safe speed is guaranteed,the steady running speed of the rotor-bearings system can be effectively increased from 40000r/min to 60000r/min above.
