Performance seeking control of turbo shaft engine with variable inlet guide vanes

  • A mathematical model of turbo shaft engine with variable inlet guide vanes was established according to the theory of variable specific heat.Numerical simulations had been conducted on the mathematical model.The performance seeking control(PCS) modes of variable geometry turbo shaft engine had been investigated.Simulation results show that the engine model works well with higher accuracy and the PSC control modes can significantly improve the performance of turbo shaft engine.
