Vibration analysis on turbofan engine intershaft bearing with outer race defect

  • According to structural characteristics and kinetic characters of dual-rotor turbofan engine,a intershaft bearing test rig was developed to experiment and test vibration of a intershaft bearing with contact fatigue spalling.Defect characteristic octave frequency formula of intershaft bearing and a model was developed to describe the vibration signals and its envelope signals produced by a intershaft bearing with defect.
