Experimental study on outlet temperature field in multipoint injection combustor-sector

  • The experimental study on outlet temperature field in a multipoint injection combustor-sector was finished on high-pressure test facility of annular combustor in GTE(China Gas Turbine Establishment) .Experiment results indicate that the multipoint injection combustor can control the outlet temperature filed redistribution through adjusting fuel injector switches.This control would increase the overall temperature distribution factor causing by switching and reduce radial temperature distribution factor.The combustion efficiencies of multipoint combustor and conventional combustor are fairly consistent,indicating that the multipoint injection combustor is feasible.The results have considerable significance for the designs of similar combustors.
