Air turbine starter pressure controller modeling and numerical simulation based on AMESim

  • Based on the structure and principle of pressure controller (which is a pressure feedback control system composed of several pneumatic components) of air turbine starter system (ATS),the mathematic model was established through theoretical analyze.Then a pressure control system simulation platform was developed based on the AMESim simulation environment by using the modularization modeling method.Take a kind of ATS as the object for simulation,the pressure characteristics was simulated by giving ramp signal,random square wave signal and sine signal.The result show that output pressure can maintain within required range,and compared with the test data of typical operation state,the simulation error is less than 3%.The model of pressure controller is suitable for engineering.
