Analysis of dynamic modeling of aviation heavy oil piston engine fuel delivery system

  • A complete mathematical model for fuel delivery system used in aviation heavy oil piston engine was developed.The mathematical model included one-dimensional pipe flow module,hydraulic module,mechanical module and electromagnetic module.The nonstationary flow in the fuel delivery system was simulated,including the characteristic of pressure in the system.The injection rate was also provided.The comparison of the prediction results with experimental data showes a generally good agreement,which proves the accuracy of the mathematical model.
