Using face name as index in multidisciplinary optimization data linking

  • To settle MDO(multidisciplinary optimization) failure induced by change of geometry model face number,a data-link method,which used face name in replace of face number as data link index,was provided.A program of the method,coded to link SOLIDWORKS and ICEM.CFD,was used in a turbine blade MDO process.The result shows that the method can keep the MDO process correct in a condition that face number changes randomly.
