Finite element analysis on temperature field of bearing with shaft

  • Finite element model based on the structure of bearing with shaft was set up.Its temperature field was analyzed by finite element method.First,angular speed of balls was analyzed through quasi-static method.Then power loss was gotten at various inner ring velocities,axial loads and radial loads.Finally,temperature distribution was calculated by ANSYS.Effects on temperature field were analyzed at different operating conditions by examples.The results validated by experiments show that axial load and inner ring velocity can affect temperature distribution strongly,but the effect of radial load is not significant.
