Numerical simulation of wing/nacelle/pylon aerodynamic characteristics and their changes under powered condition

  • Based on DLR-F6 model,the wing -nacelle-pylon (W-N-P)configuration dynamic characteristics were calculated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD) method under through flow condition and powered condition respectively.The results show that the interference configuration passage shock wave and nacelle vortex would increase nacelle overall drag and reduce wing lift.The resistance would be lower under power condition compare with that under through flow condition.
