Aero engine component characteristic map correction using multi state test data

  • In order to improve the accuracy of engine component characteristic map correction with modification factors method,a new correction method using multi state engine test data was presented.Equations from the engine model based on component matching and the difference equations of calculated and test parameters were used as objective equations.In addition,the objective function was optimized using an improved immune particle swarm optimization algorithm.Thus the engine component correction coefficients were obtained.Based on these coefficients of different states,a correction coefficient surface was fitted by moving least square method,and the corrected component map was obtained with the obtained coefficient surface.Simulated results show that because of the use of multi state test data,the proposed new method shows better performance than the traditonal one.The corrected component map has higher accuracy in the whole scope.
