Research and application of cycle parameter optimization algorithm for high bypass ratio turbofan engine

  • To investigate the high bypass ratio turbofan propulsion cycle optimization utilizing the multi-constraints and multi-optimization variables,a self-adaptive three times variation differential evolution (STTVDE) was developed and verified by the Benchmarks multi-peak functions.The turbofan propulsion cycle parameters with multi-constraint parameters were optimized by incorporating STTVDE with the aero-engine performance program.The results demonstrate that the convergence precision of STTVDE is higher and the convergence speed of STTVDE is faster in comparison with differential evolution (DE).Besides,applying STTVDE,the efficiency of cycle parameter optimization is improved markedly. Therefore,the proposed method is considered as a promising method for turbofan propulsion cycle parameter optimization.
