Analysis of power metallurgy superalloy turbine disc's burst speed

  • The average stress method,modified average radial stress method,residual deformation method,and local plastic strain method which were used for burst speed forecast were introduced.power metallurgy(P/M) superalloy turbine disc's burst speed was analyzed with these methods.By comparing the forecast results with test results,it can be found that the forecast results agreed well with the test results using the modified average radial stress method,residual deformation method and local plastic strain method.However,the forecast burst speed by the average stress method based on radial stress distributing equably are not in agreement with test results.
