Experimental study of the effects of tabs on jet impingement heat transfer

  • The impingement characteristics of a circular jet with vortex-generating tabs were investigated experimentally.This experiment was focused on the effects of blockage ratio,shape and installation angle of tabs on impingement heat transfer,revealing that the shapes and installation angle of tabs have great influence upon the convective heat transfer of impingement.According to the pattern of influence,beneficial reference opinions were raised on the structural designs of tabs.
