An off-design method of turbine blade based on multiobjective optimization

  • The off-design concept based on multiobjective optimization was introduced into turbomachinery cascades optimization.And,the energy optimization method was applied to develop a 2D blade fairing method and a new automatic blade design parameterization method.By combining parallel multiobjective differential evolution algorithm and CFD technique,an off-design aerodynamic optimization method was developed.Thus,the off-design aerodynamic optimization of a turbine blade was studied under the subsonic condition and transonic condition.The result indicates that this design method can help to get several blades profiles of good aerodynamic performance suitable for different working condition,presenting strong design capability and higher engineering practicability.
