Effects of gap between nozzles on plug heat transfer characteristics

  • To understand the effects of gap between nozzles on plug heat transfer characteristics,three dimension computational models of plug nozzle were established and studied numerically.Heat transfer characteristics of plug with different ambient pressure and different coolant flow rate were investigated.The results of coolant heat pick-up and pressure loss,wall temperature,pressure and heat flux distribution were obtained,especially the effects of gap between nozzles on plug heat transfer characteristics.The results show that: due to the effect of gap between nozzles,the distribution of pressure,heat flux and temperature along the width of plug is different.With decrease of ambient pressure,this effect becomes weaker.
