Structural design optimization method and program implementation for a hollow fan blade

  • A bi-objective optimization model for a hollow fan blade was established for the purpose of minimizing the mass and radial displacement with the constraint of maximum Von Mises equivalent stress,based on the structural analysis of a hollow fan blade.The effects of design variables on the constraint function and objective functions were studied using orthogonal experimental design method,and the number of design variables was reduced as a result.The response surface metamodels of constraint function and objective functions were constructed using radial basis function method so as to improve the efficiency of structural design optimization and avoid a lot of finite element analysis during the optimization process.An example was solved for the purpose of studying the applications of metamodels and elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-Ⅱ) for the bi-objective structural design optimization of a hollow fan blade,then a group of uniform Pareto solutions and some recommended optimal results of a hollow fan blade example were obtained.
