Abstract: The steady process of solid rocket motor modulated by the vortex valve is investigated theoretically.The design of structural parameters for the vortex valve is considered with the method of steady analysis,and some useful conclusions are drawn.The modulation effect is much better if we have better heat-insulating situation.Reduction of the pressure exponent of the main chamber grain helps increasing the modulation effect.
