Abstract:
The integrative rigidity and the local rigidity of blades are enhanced by their centrifugal loading,so that when a flying bird impacts on the aeroengine blades under their rotating states, the responses of the blades are different from those under the static states. The nonlinear transient responses of the blades to the bird impact under the different centrifugal loadings are analyzed by using the finite element method. The results show that the centrifugal loadings have a significant effect on the local and integrative deformations of the blades as well as the character of the responses.
