Abstract: An experimental study was performed to investigate the staggered pin fin array flow field in the specially constructed small wind tunnel.The experimental result gives the detailed distributions of the flow field parameters.The analysis reveals that the velocity distribution on the odd measuring plane is different from that on the even measuring plane.Channel vortex can be observed on the odd measuring plane,and horseshoe vortex is caughted on the even measuring plane.
