Abstract:
The exit flow field and the static pressure on the blade surface for three sets of different cascades were measured at four incidences of -5°,0°,5° and 10° respectively in a low-speed cascade wind tunnel. The three sets were a conventional straight cascade,a positive curved one and a negative curved one.The static pressure distributions on blade surfaces and the energy loss distribution in the exit flow fields have been obtained. The purpose of this paper is to find out the energy loss mechanism of the curved blade cascades from the static pressure distribution on the blade surface, and to study performance of compressor cascades at different incidences.
