Abstract:
A solid modeling system for aeroengine blisk in the concurrent engineering environment is developed on the platform of the integrated CAD/CAE/CAM Software-Unigraphics of network station,by using the capability for solid modeling of sophisticated components with advanced hybrid feature modeling technology and corresponding features in UG and STEP according to entity definition.A general constraint management system is established to meet the needs of multidisciplinary teams for designing the components of the engine. It coordinates the real activities of multidisciplinary teams to check all design parameters dynamically by constructing a constraint network and user defined rule-based knowledge base, and takes the follow-up operations into account in the designing stage. The data exchange between geometric model and FEA from UG to PATRAN is performed successfully. As an example,a blisk of a given turbofan engine is employed for modeling, and its static stress and modal analyses have been completed with satisfied results. So this work provides a supporting tool for application of concurrent engineering to designing the components of an aeroengine.
