A CONSTRAINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AEROENGINE BLISK SUPPORTING CONCURRENT ENGINEERING

Abstract: In order to solve the problems caused by transition from sequential engineering to concurrent engineering in aeroengine research and development,to give the overall representation and sustain the comprehensive relationship among the multifunctional teams and the team members,the hierarchic structure of constraint network in the research and development of an engine was analysed,and a general constraint management system for supporting concurrent design has been developed.The system imitates the collaborative work of multifunctional teams and considers the needs of follow-up activities simultaneously in the design stage.As an example,a blisk constraint network of a given turbofan engine has been worked out for the blisk feature modeling system.This work provides a supporting tool for application of the concurrent engineering to the aeroengine research and development.
