Abstract: Wavelet transformation has very good characteristics of time-frequency analysis,and is very effective to extract the small instantaneous shock from harmonic signal.An improved fast algorithm is proposed to avoid frequency aliasing,which exists in the Mallat algorithm.The incipient fault character of the bearing in one aeroengine is extracted successfully by the wavelet transformations.
