Abstract: A system engineering method for development of the Computer Aided Testing (CAT) technique was discussed in the light of a comprehensive review of CAT technique,and investigation of CAT Systems.The application of digital filtering to the Aeroengine Test was also introducted.The focus was put on the achievements of multi-signal acquisition,processing and displaying according to Virtual Instrument conception.The necessity and trend of a man-machine harmonious information environment development with supporting of database system in the aeroengine Test field were considered.
