Abstract:
This paper describes the study and implementation of parallel algorithm and software for static buckling analysis.The research takes advantage of advanced serial finite element analysis code,MSC.NASTRAN as development platform,and massively parallel computer as parallel environment.The dominating computing work of elastic structure static buckling analysis was parallelized,and the parallel solver was implemented in Fortran90 and MPI.Moreover,the parallel solver was embedded into the original solution sequence as a sub-module,and could be called directly.For convenient use,the development for friendly interface was implemented.The integrated software,which includes serial pre-and postprocessors with parallel solver,can improve the scale and speed of linear buckling analysis for thin shell structure.
