Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to study the effects of normal and tangential blowing on the side force of forebodies with different cross section.Based on the measurement test of forces in a wind tunnel,the test results were presented.Furthermore,the influence of angle of attack,the blowing means,the pointing angle of tangential blowing and the cross section of the forebodies on the side force were discussed.The results show that,both normal and tangential blowing are effective means of flow control,the influence of blowing on the cone-cylinder is strongest,followed by the influence of blowing on the elliptic forebody and on chine forebody.
