Abstract: A method of calculating the axial-flow compressor flow field under distortion was presented.The stage distribution in different faces was computed by solving the unsteady 3-D Euler equations.The transfer characteristic for 74A compressor,for example,was computed under the inlet circumferential total pressure distortion,then the distribution of total pressure,static pressure,total temperature and flow coefficient in different faces were obtained.The distribution of the distortion intensity,distortion range and distortion position in axial direction was acquired.
