Abstract:
The infrared thermal imager was used to measure wall temperature profiles of the flame tube within the model annular combustor with dual-stage axial swirler under different inlet temperatures,fuel/air ratios and primary holes parameters. The measurements under different experimental cases show that, the different primary holes parameters have a considerable influence on wall temperature profiles of the flame tube. The wall temperature increases with a rise of inlet temperature, but changes of the wall temperature distributions of the flame tube are not obvious. The influences of different fuel/air ratios on profiles of wall temperature are weak, but these influences on the temperature gradient are large. Results of experiments are useful for the optimum design and development of the advanced annular combustor.
