Abstract: A design method of"Linear Quadratic Output PI Feedback Control" is proposed in this paper. Amarine gas turbine propulsion system controller has been designed by use of this method. The controller not only has the advantages of the PI controller in classical control theory, but also those of the state-variable feedback in modern control theory. The simulation of this controller gives satisfactory results.
