Abstract:
The heat transfer characteristics of rotating disc have been investigated experimentally by means of a mass transfer analog of naphthalene sublimation.Two models are used:free rotating disc and shrouded rotor stator system.Mass transfer test results of free disc are in good agreement with experimental results of heat transfer and theoretical prediction.The test results of local Sherwood number are obtained,which are dependent on rotational Reynolds number、flow coefficient、gap ratio and shroud clearance ratio.
