Abstract:
Total pressure distortion flow field test of a certain turbofan engine was conducted based on disturbed board installed in nacelle inlet,and the values about inlet total pressure distortion of the engine under some operating states were obtained.This paper focused on studying the influential factors to the total pressure distribution of engine inlet,and also discussed the influences of engine operating states and the relative depth of disturbed board on the inlet section total pressure recovery and engine inlet distortion indexes.Moreover,computational fluid dynamics(CFD) computation on steady total pressure distribution and circumferential steady total pressure distortion index was carried out based on test data,representing its agreement with the test.The studies in this paper have established a necessary basis for further distortion test and surge test in the air.
